Built in, not bolted on
The controls an auditor looks for are in the product.
- Approvals
- Vouchers move from draft to submitted to approved to posted. The person who prepares an entry cannot approve it.
- Traceability
- Every figure on a report drills down to its ledger, and from the ledger to the voucher behind it.
- Calendars
- You define the fiscal years and periods. Posting is blocked when no open period covers the date.
- Structure
- A configurable chart of accounts, with cost centres and funds, so the books match what your regulator or donor expects.
- Evidence
- Field check-ins carry time and location, and visit reports carry photo evidence.
- Isolation
- Modules run on their own databases and subdomains. Payroll and salary data is not mixed into field-monitoring data.
